We put a bid on a house (as you may have read). Ours is on the market. Why are we doing this again?
Our house is fine. Sure, it's small, but we're happy here right?
I'll miss the hardwood floors, the bathroom renovation...everything. Just why are we leaving?
The fact is, we could use more space, but, I'm amazed at the emotional response to leaving our first "home". I can already see myself 30 years from now saying..."Remember that cute place we first owned just after we got married? We never should have left"...as we're living in some ridiculous suburban home with too many square feet and too little charm. These pictures are of the current place (which will be dearly missed)...
